Butterfly Bowl
A Maple bowl that was turned off center and then the butterflies were hand drawn, burned and colored with Alcohol based dyes.
Buckeye
This is a natural edge bowl made from the root burl of a California Buckeye tree.
Ash Burl
A natural edge platter made from a burl cap off of a Oregon Ash log.
Leaf Set
Three Maple bowls cored from the same bowl blank. The leaves were then drawn and burned on the surface cascading down the sides. Using an alcohol based dye the leaves were colored in the fall colors of autumn.
Burned Buckeye
A decorative piece made from a tall piece of Buckeye Burl. This piece was turned, burned with a torch, colored with 4 different hues of reds, oranges and yellows. It won first prize for its class in the Elements Show in Spanish Village of Balboa Park.
Juniper
A natural edge platter made from a slice of Hollywood Twisted Juniper.
